If you're a web hosting provider or managing multiple websites, WHM (Web Host Manager) allows you to create individual cPanel accounts for different domains. This guide will walk you through the steps to create a cPanel account inside WHM.

Step 1: Log in to WHM

1. Open your browser and go to yourserver.com/whm or yourserverIP:2087.
2. Enter your WHM root username and password, then click Log in.

Step 2: Navigate to “Create a New Account”

1. In the WHM Dashboard, find the Account Functions section.
2. Click on Create a New Account.

Step 3: Enter Domain & User Information

1. Domain Name: Enter the domain for the new cPanel account (e.g., example.com).
2. Username: WHM will generate a username automatically, or you can enter a custom one.
3. Password: Create a secure password or use the Password Generator.
4. Email Address: Provide an admin email for account-related notifications.

Step 4: Choose a Package (Optional)

• If you have pre-configured hosting packages, select one.
• Otherwise, manually set account limits (disk space, bandwidth, email accounts, etc.).

Step 5: Configure Additional Settings

• Mail Routing: Choose Local Mail Exchanger if handling emails on the same server.
• DNS Settings: Select default settings unless using a custom nameserver.
• cPanel Theme: Choose Paper Lantern or the latest theme available.

Step 6: Create the Account

1. Review the details to ensure everything is correct.
2. Click Create to finalize the account creation.
3. WHM will display a success message with login details for the new cPanel account.

Step 7: Access the New cPanel Account

1. In WHM, go to List Accounts under Account Information.
2. Find the newly created account and click cPanel Icon to log in directly.
